PCB reverse engineering
Board analysis, schematic/BOM recovery, and multilayer reverse-engineering methods.
02
Component analysis
Component identification, datasheets, replacement selection, and IC analysis.
03
Embedded systems
Microcontrollers, hardware–firmware interfaces, debugging, and system integration.
04
PCB design & DFM
PCB layout, stackups, signal integrity, and DFM/DFA.
05
Testing & failure analysis
Measurements, fault isolation, reliability investigations, and component-level repair.
06
Electronics manufacturing
PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, inspection, rework, and quality control.
We welcome technical tutorials, practical projects, case analyses, and engineering tools or calculations within these topics.
What makes a useful submission
Original work
Share your own engineering experience, analysis, or practical techniques. Submit original work that has not been published elsewhere, and explain what another engineer can learn from it.
Evidence and clarity
- Support technical claims with measurements, test conditions, sources, or reproducible methods.
- State assumptions and limitations; use clear headings and relevant code.
- Include useful figures you have permission to share.
- Use 800–1,500 words as a starting point; depth matters more than length.
Relevant links and disclosure
Include a short author bio and disclose any relevant affiliations or commercial relationships. Cite sources that help readers verify technical claims. All links are subject to editorial review; promotional or irrelevant links may be removed.
From draft to publication
01
Submit your article

02
Editorial review
We review submissions for technical value, clarity, relevance, and supporting evidence. We may ask for revisions.
03
Revisions and publication
If accepted, we work with you on the final article before publishing it on ReversePCB.
